Remote counselling allows you to receive therapeutic support from the comfort of your own home. This service is ideal for anyone who is unable to attend a therapists office on a frequent basis. This could be due to having a hectic life style, travelling a lot for work or living in a different location from your ideal therapist. There is the option to work through Skype, Zoom, FaceTime, WhatsApp or Telephone, depending on what works best for you.
This type of counselling involves the same process as the more traditional form of counselling. The sessions will usually be held once per week at a time that works best for you. The therapeutic approach remains the same as does all the professional and ethical boundaries that your counsellor must uphold. The only difference being that instead of meeting face to face the sessions will be held remotely online via a platform that best suits you.
